Patented control technology achieves cheaper substitution and transcendence
The design concept of RM-EGB is "Cheaper substitution and Transcendence". We aim to help customers who have been using the pneumatic actuators to transition smoothly to the "electric era" without any additional cost and enjoy the intelligence and convenience of electric actuators.
The RM-EGB is almost identical to pneumatic grippers of the same specifications regarding mounting hole positions and size. Based on this, the RM-EGB can achieve the same or even higher positioning accuracy and speed, with adjustable gripping force and position, covering a broader range of gripping force. It means 1 electric gripper can replace 2 to 3 pneumatic grippers with different cylinder diameters.
The size of the motor directly affects the product's performance. In general, the smaller the volume of a product, the smaller the volume of its internal motor tends to be, which in turn can lead to a corresponding decrease in performance, primarily reflected in terms of strength and speed.
Therefore, products of the same volume generally do not exceed a force output of 15 Newtons.
However, through a highly integrated design of the motor and drive, along with the ultimate optimization of algorithm performance, we have significantly enhanced and even extended the performance of the motor. Therefore, with the same product volume size, RM-EGB has achieved a higher degree of integration, and the performance is superior to similar products. The gripping force of RM-EGB is 2-3 times that of similar products, and it is also capable of maintaining continuous precision and stability in output force.

No need for parameter adjustment by Modbus, directly compatible with I/O
Traditional electric grippers require connection to an upper computer by Modbus RTU or other bus systems, changing parameters to configure the direction of movement to adapt to the workpieces or switch between gripping and extending scenarios.
The RM-EGB series truly does not require any configuration. Through simple I/O control, it is fully compatible with both gripping/extending application scenarios, and provides complete gripped/drop detection function status outputs for both scenarios.
We can use three sets of input/output signals to combine four levels of gripping force, two levels of expansion force, and three absolute positioning points, meeting the customers' extreme demands for flexible production lines without pausing to connect to the upper computer to change parameters. In addition, simple gripping and extending control can be achieved with just a single input signal. It means the EGB can replace the original pneumatic control scheme directly without the need for any program modifications.

Whether it is gripping small screws, small screw caps, or workpieces in slightly larger size, it can adapt to the grip without manual adjustment of the position.
Customized clamps can be used to grip workpieces of various specifications stably and reliably.
Multiple positioning stroke options are available, offering better flexibility and enabling easy execution of complex movements such as obstacle avoidance, gripping/extending, and more.
RM-EGB is equipped with installation holes in four sides, which can directly replace common pneumatic cylinder products on the market, saving on air compressors, filters, solenoid valves, throttle valves, pneumatic fingers, and other equipment.
It uses the same wiring method as the pneumatic cylinder, can plug and play to replace the pneumatic grippers directly and improve production efficiency.

RM-EGB model is equipped with a feature that can detect the workpiece is not gripped properly or has fallen. When such a situation occurs, the RM-EGB can immediately provide feedback to the upper computer via I/O signals. This capability allows for a more timely response to production conditions, ensuring the quality of the manufacturing process.
RM-EGB can grip workpieces not only by outside gripping but also by extending. This means that it can adapt to more working scenarios and requirements.
When extending the workpieces by inside gripping, it also has the function of process drop/empty gripping recognition, ensuring the stable implementation of the workpieces extending process as well as the monitoring.
A single I/O signal is all that's needed to switch between the gripping and extending functions, without the need for additional signal lines or controllers. This product simplifies the device's construction, layout, and debugging process, contributing to space and cost savings.
